After leaving the much colder northern states of the United States, Lia along with Fen and Lizzy decided to head down south, following Lia's ever-annoyed cousin to a city called Magnolia.
All settled into a house which is remarkably similar to the one they left previously, they have settled into a life of drinking, partying and sometimes working out at the gym they own in the north of the town.
When not getting drunk and dancing all night, they are usually found shopping.
Born into the Venuto family of northern Sicily, Liandra's first 5 years of life was relatively quiet, but then the Cosa Nostra interregnum wars of the early 1990's happened.
Three families jostled for position as the old lead family of the Sicilian Mafia's head had died without a clear heir to their family, which then left a gaping hole in the line of succession. Weakness in any of the old families is seen as an entryway for other families to gain power. In the space of 10 years Lia lost her mother, her brother, 5 cousins and an aunt and uncle, all down to the interregnum.
A full police crackdown finally got the families to sit around a table and sort the mess out, but the damage was already done. A cold, but stable peace has been in place ever since.
The late 2010s into the early 2020s saw Liandra work ever more closely with the business side of the family, cooking books, and laundering money through various in-country and out-of-country businesses. She had a knack for juggling multiple sums of money in multiple businesses all at the same time. With the better part of 9 million Euro's on the books for the Venuto family, Liandra's father decided it was time to offload a lot of the cash and invest it back into the local community by forming legitimate businesses. Half the money was set aside to invest and build business in Messina, and the other half was split between Lia and her remaining brother for them to form their own business ventures.
Lia decided it was time to expand the family business, so headed over to the United States. Deals were stuck with the east coast Mafioso families that the Venuto family would not impede on any town or city which had the 5 families of the east coast already involved. On the flip side of that deal was an open letter of acceptance of the five families that they would accept business ventures open by the Venuto family in any town or city which was not under the control of them.
So far though, Lia has spent most of her millions drinking and partying with her friends, much to the dismay of her father.
Fit & Lit Gym is used as a secondary money laundering outfit for the Venuto family.
